Hazards to people and environment

  • Extremely flammable aerosol.
  • Pressurized container: may burst if heated.
  • Causes skin irritation.
  • May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
  • May form explosive mixtures with air.
  • Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

Protective measures and behaviour rules

  • Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks and open flames. No smoking.
  • Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source.
  • Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
  • Avoid breathing aerosol; use only with good ventilation.
  • Prevent contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
  • Wear safety glasses, nitrile gloves and suitable protective clothing.
  • Use explosion-proof local exhaust if ventilation is insufficient.
  • Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product.

Emergency response

  • Move affected person to fresh air immediately.
  • In case of breathing problems or apnea, give oxygen or artificial respiration and call a doctor at once.
  • Remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
  • Collect spilled product and prevent release to drains or the environment.
  • Protect containers from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50°C/122°F.

First aid

  • After inhalation: move to fresh air; seek immediate medical attention for breathing problems.
  • After skin contact: wash with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and remove contaminated clothing.
  • After eye contact: rinse eyes with water; get medical advice if irritation persists.
  • After swallowing: rinse mouth, do not induce vomiting, seek medical advice if symptoms occur.
  • First responders should use suitable personal protective equipment.

Proper disposal

  • Do not pour into drains.
  • Dispose of product and waste according to local regulations.
  • Empty aerosol cans completely, including propellant, before disposal.
  • Dispose of contaminated packaging as hazardous waste.
  • Do not cut, weld, puncture or burn empty containers.
